I’m a little teapot, short and stout
This is my handle | (Put one hand on hip) |
This is my spout | (Extend other arm out sideways) |
When I get all steamed up, then I shout
Just tip me over and pour me out. | (Bend body towards extended arm) |
I’m a very clever pot, it is true
Here’s an example of what I can do.
I can change my handle and change my spout | (Switch position of arms and hands) |
Just tip me over and pour me out. | (Bend body in opposite direction) |
I’m a little rocket pointing at the moon. | (Raise arms above head and fingers tips touching) |
Now I’m getting fuelled up | (Wiggle hips) |
We’ll be ready soon. | (Stand up straight and tall, salute) |
When it’s time to board me, then I’ll say | (Take hold of child around ribs) |
Blast off! Zoom! We’re on our way. | (Lift up child into the air) |
