Kitchener Park is a large green area spanning the block between the Perth Modern School and the Subiaco Oval in Subiaco. The lawn is crisscrossed by footpaths, benches, picnic areas, and trees. Kitchener Park contains two play areas; a small playground with older play equipment, and the Mueller Park Playspace.
The Mueller Park Playspace is a fully fenced in area with an array of attractions for toddlers and young children. This playspace has been specially created to ensure that children of all abilities can enjoy the play equipment.
Activities Include:
- Small water play area with fountain
- Double slide with ramp
- Large circular swing that can fit 2-3 children together
- Sand pits
- Many musical themed exhibits (sound funnels, bongo drums, xylophone)
- Wooden planks of varying heights for climbing and walking
- Climbing structure

Best suited for toddlers and young children (0-5 years old)

1-2 hours of play, or bring a picnic/BBQ for a half day

- Bring a change of clothes for your child as they can get quite wet in the water play area
